Starting from the study of the structure of natural products, the key laboratory explores the biological activities and related chemical and biological mechanisms of natural products and then optimizes the active lead compounds, so as to scientifically utilize natural resources and discover new functional molecules of drugs. On this basis, the key laboratory adopts the theory and method of physical organic chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology to study the structure-activity relationship of natural products and drugs, and to elucidate their mechanism of action at the molecular level.
