The 14th National Academic Conference on Physical Organic Chemistry was held in Shanghai from October 14 to 17, 2021, which was sponsored by Chinese Chemical Society and co-organized by Physical Organic Chemistry Committee and Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During the conference, the award ceremony of "Physical organic Chemistry Award of Chinese Chemical Society" is held，which the Chinese Chemical Society hosts every two years with two prizemen for "Physical Organic Chemistry Award", "Physical Organic Chemistry Young Man Award" and "Physical Organic Chemistry Newcomer Award"，respectively. Academician Ding Kuiling from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Professor Wang Wei from State Key Laboratory of applied Organic Chemistry, Lanzhou University, were awarded the Physical and Organic Chemistry Award by Chinese Chemical Society.
