Research Topics

Radical reaction, Green synthetic methodology, Physical organic chemistry

1. Radical reaction: Develop new free radical reaction methodology research and promote free radical in the application of the organic synthesis, including the environmentally friendly initiation of free radicals, radical catalyzed reaction, and substituent-tuned electronic structure transformation of free radical and its mediated selective cyclization and addition reaction.

2. Green synthetic methodology: Oxidation and oxygenation are fundamental reactions in organic synthesis. Dioxygen is not only an environmentally benign and abundant oxidant, but also an ideal oxygen source for the oxygenation of organic substrates. Due to its enormous importance in chemistry and biochemistry, we aim to develop novel autooxidation and catalytic oxidation (oxygenation) reactions for transformation of organic substrates.

3. Physical organic chemistry: Stable organic radical synthesis, characterization and application, supramolecular assembly based on anion-π、cation-π、H-π and π-π interactions, study on charge-transfer and electron transfer complex.
