On May 26, 2022, Wang Baojie, deputy director of Lanzhou Chemical Research Center of PetroChina, with 17 people visited State Key Laboratory of Appiled Organic Chemistry, who were welcomed by Wang Wei, director of State Key Laboratory of Appiled Organic Chemistry, and Xi Pinxian, vice dean of College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in room 201, building 2#. 13 representatives of the college teachers attended the symposium presided over by Wang wei.

Wang Baojie introduced the participants of the research center, expecting to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchange with Collage of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of and State Key Laboratory of Appiled Organic Chemistry, Lanzhou University. Gou Gailian, deputy director of scientific Research Management Department of PETROCHINA Lanzhou Chemical Research Center, introduced the basic information, main research topics, a series of achievements and the need of cooperation.The two sides discussed the current technical problems faced by enterprises and the cooperation mode between university and enterprises.

Wang Wei and Xi Pingxian extended a warm welcome to the delegation from of Lanzhou Chemical Research Center of PetroChina and introduced State Key Laboratory of Appiled Organic Chemistry and College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Then Professor Ding Yong, Professor Zhai Honglin, Professor Guo Jinshan, Assistant Professor Wu Jianfeng, Associate Professor Long Yu, Associate Professor Ye Weichun, and Doctor Zhang Haijun gave a brief work report on the current research to meet the enterprise’s demand. In accordance with the principle of "complementary advantages, friendly cooperation, collaborative innovation and mutual benefit", the two sides will explore cooperation and development models in scientific research, talent exchange and resource sharing in various forms and at different levels, at the same time there will be with a view to enhancing the innovation capacity of both sides and realizing the integrated development of industry, university and research.
