To further promote the development of organic chemistry and related fields in western China, State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry of Lanzhou University and Thieme, German chemical journal, will jointly hold 2021 LZU/Thieme Chemistry Symposium in Lanzhou University on October, 9th , 2021. The conference will last for one day without registration fee (registration on 8th, Symposium on 9th and departure on 10th). The conference will be launched online and offline simultaneously.
Chemical journals and chemical databases of Thieme focus on organic synthetic chemistry, publish chemical journals including Synlett and Synthesis, and launch Science of Synthesis, a full-text database of organic chemical synthesis methods. What they have done provides a range of high quality publications for researchers around the world. In addition, by giving thorough awards, such as the Organic Synthetic Chemistry Prize of Thieme-IUPAC and the Chemistry Journal Prize of Thieme, Thieme has pushed forward academic development and related research.
