From July 29 to August 1, 2021, the third session of National Conference on Organic Field-Effect Transistors, hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry, Lanzhou University, was successfully held in Lanzhou University. Many well-known scholars at home and abroad, including Academician Liu Yunqi from the Institute of Chemistry, the branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Zhang Jin of Peking University, at the same time more than 50 Chang Jiang Young Scholars, gainers of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, outstanding young scholars and many well-known experts from Hong Kong, who were invited to attend the conference online or offline. There were more than 300 experts and scholars attending the conference. Considering the epidemic, the conference service group in advance made plans for epidemic prevention and strictly implemented various measures.

 The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Zhang Haoli of Lanzhou University. Fan Baojun, vice President of Lanzhou University, and Academician Liu Yunqi , delivered opening speeches respectively, expressing warm welcome to all the experts and scholars and introducing the overall research results in related fields. Academician Liu Yunqi and Academician Zhang Jin successively made theme speeches on "The forefront on the Materials and Devices of High Mobility Semiconductor" and "The Growth controlled methods of the Structure of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube" respectively. There were online and offline 148 academic reports. The conference topics included the cutting-edge scientific issues and research achievements in the field of organic optoelectronic devices related materials, theories, technologies and engineering, which represented by Organic Field-Effect Transistors (OFET), Organic Photovoltaic (OPV), Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED). Besides the common scientific problems and industrialization development paths of OFET and other organic optoelectronic devices were discussed in multi-angle, strategic and forward-looking way.

During the conference, the experts presented their insights on key issues, solutions and development directions of OFET in the future. The participants of teachers and students also were engaged in the conference and had extensive and in-depth discussion. Experts selected 20 outstanding wall newspapers from 73, which were awarded to the certificates by Wiley and RSC Press. At the closing ceremony, Professor Zhang Haoli reviewed and summarized the conference, and passed on the baton to the next organizer. Professor Hu Wenping, vice President of Tianjin University, delivered the closing speech and congratulated the success of the conference.
