The 7^th Junior International Conference on Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia (Junior ICCEOCA-7)/The 3^rd Junior Advanced Research Network on Cutting-Edge Organic Chemistry in Asia (Junior ARNCEOCA-3) was held at Lanzhou University in Oct 31, 2017.

This conference (http://jicceoca7.lzu.edu.cn) was hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry at Lanzhou University. Prof. Chun-An Fan offered an open up speech and expressed his sincere welcome. Young scholars from nearly 40 world-renowned institutions in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thai, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong attended this conference. Keynote lectures were given by Prof. Yoshiharu Iwabuchi from Tohoku University, Prof. B. Moon Kim from Seoul National University, Prof. Pauline Chiu from The University of Hong Kong, and Prof. Rong-Jie Chein from Institute of Chemistry Academia Sinica. A total of 26 oral presentations and 22 poster presentations were given at this conference.

The Junior ICCEOCA was initiated in 2010 and has become one of the high level junior international conference that has the most impact. Previous Junior ICCEOCA were hosted by National Tsinghua University Taiwan (2010), Xiamen University (2011), University of Malaya (2012), Chiba University (2013), Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (2014), National Taiwan Normal University (2015), and Kyushu University (2016). The Junior ICCEOCA-7 has provided opportunities for junior scholars to present their most recent research progress, and promoted international communication and collaborations.
